Hey! We’re Aileen and James, proud parents of two energetic children. Our story begins back when our eldest learned to roll and crawl. Changing time became a real battle…it used to take both hands to keep him still and we had none left to change him. We’d all manage that wrestling match once or twice, but when we thought about doing it five or six times every day for a couple of years we knew there had to be a better way! 

As a part-time stay at home dad, James had changed his fair share of nappies. So, being the practical, hands-on dad he is, he borrowed a sewing machine, learned to sew, and The Wriggler was born, which (thankfully!) returned baby changing to the calm, happy experience it had once been. Then, one day we were dropping our little one to his grandad and forgot The Wriggler. The look of dread on Grandad’s face at the prospect of changing him without it made us realise that we’d actually created a solution that could work for everyone.

We're so thrilled that The Wriggler has now ended the nappy wrestling match for thousands of parents around the world. One of our highlights has to be going in front of the Dragons in BBC One's Dragons' Den where we survived a gruelling but exhilarating pitch to emerge as the only business on that show to get an offer from not only one but two Dragons! It was honestly one of the most memorable (and scary!) experiences of our lives! Being granted a patent for The Wriggler has definitely been another highlight along the way.
